Wheel thrown sgraffito stoneware. After trimming the pottery while leather hard, it is coated in black underglaze and hand-carved to achieve my various designs.

After being fired as bisqueware, I add color to some designs with underglaze, and then coat the pottery in clear glaze and fire it again. The inside of my mugs use layered colored glazes to play with their interactions and create a space-like look!
